A special tank support arrangement for use on board product tankers used for carrying asphalt, coal tar and molten sulphur at high temperature. These cargoes are carried in individual insulated tanks, each of them resting on multiple supports in the hull. The tanks cannot be fixed directly to the ship hull due to the stresses encountered because of temperature differences between the cargo and seawater.
