On 4 February, Wärtsilä Italia SpA signed an agreement with the union representatives of the Italian Metalworking Federation (FIM), the Italian Federation of Metalworkers (FIOM) and the Union of Italian Metalworkers (UILM) to introduce a professional training apprenticeship and higher education and research contract into the company structure.
