Wärtsilä Hamworthy miniMBR systems are smaller, more compact versions of the company’s innovative MBR technology for handling grey and black water waste.
Wärtsilä Hamworthy’s MBR technology is an advanced wastewater treatment process based on biological degradation and membrane separation. It delivers the highest quality discharge without requiring any addition or generation of chemicals hazardous to the maritime or shipboard environment.
By building on our successful experiences and working closely with our customers, we have been able to optimise the miniMBR system to produce an effective compact package. It is ideal for use on smaller cruise and naval vessels, plus ferries with up to a 200 complement, as well as FPSOs and accommodation platforms.
