Ballast Pumps
Wärtsilä Svanehøj deepwell ballast pumps have been installed on a number of FPSOs.
The deepwell ballast pump is a single suction in-line centrifugal pump, designed for a reliable and efficient operation and consists of a submerged pump head, transmission to deck and electric motor. The compact design of the pump ensures low weight handling.
The pump is designed for direct-on-line starting and can also be operated with a frequency converter or other means of variable speed regulation. The motor will be delivered with a PTB certificate and class certificate where required.
