Disclosure Policy

Wärtsilä aims to give all market participants simultaneous and timely access to the information they need so that they can determine the value of the Wärtsilä shares in an informed manner.

The Wärtsilä shares are listed on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki stock exchange, and Wärtsilä follows the rules and recommendations of the exchange, as well as the regulation set forth in the Finnish Companies Act and Finnish Securities Markets Act and other relevant laws and the standards of the Financial Supervision Authority (FSA) in Finland.

This policy describes Wärtsilä’s operating principles and procedures for communication with the capital markets.

The disclosure policy, which is approved by the Board of Management, is distributed to all Wärtsilä units globally and it aims to ensure a broad understanding of Wärtsilä’s information disclosure obligations and limitations under the Finnish Securities Markets Act, the Finnish Companies Act, the standards of Financial Supervision Authority (FIN-FSA), the rules of the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki and other regulations for public listed companies.

Wärtsiläs disclosure policy has been updated to refelect the flagging limit changes in the Finnish Securities Market Act.
