How can I find job opportunities at Wärtsilä?
All vacancies are published at www.wartsila.com/careers. If you find something interesting there, please apply for the job as instructed in the job ad. If you want to fill in an open application, please fill in the open application form on this site. This way it will be visible to all our recruiters.

How can I search for positions in a specific country of job area?
There are drop-down menus on the job listings. If your search result is empty it means that there are no vacancies at the moment matching the area you were looking for. You can also select in which country you are looking for a job, which job area you are interested in and what type of job you are looking for. This also includes summer jobs, graduate positions and traineeships. This open candidate profile will then be available to our recruiters who may contact you if a suitable position opens up.

How can I submit my CV via email?
Unfortunately, we can not accept CVs via email. Instead, please fill in the open application form. This way your CV will be available to our recruiters. If you want to apply for an open position advertised on our careers site, please fill in the application as instructed in the job ad.

How can I apply for a trainee (internship) or thesis worker position?
Our vacancies for all positions can be found at www.wartsila.com/careers. Please apply to positions via these pages. You can also identify in the open application form if you are looking for a traineeship or a thesis worker position.

How can I apply for a graduate position?
All entry-level positions are also published at www.wartsila.com/careers.

Can I edit my application after submitting it?
Yes you can, just log in to your applicant information (via open application form) and edit the data you wish to change.

When will my application be deleted?
Due to legal regulations, application data will be stored for either 3 or 6 months from the last update if you allow us to keep your information (there is a tick box for this in the application form). If you do not allow it, it will disappear from our system when we have closed the search for the vacancy you were applying for.

How can I be sure that my application has been received?
When you apply for a position, you will receive an email confirmation to your email box within 48 hours of applying. Additionally, when you log in to your candidate profile, you will also be able to see which jobs you have applied for already.

When can I expect feedback on my CV?
Unfortunately, we are unable to respond personally to every CV that we receive. You will be contacted in the event that we move forward with your application. If you have applied for a certain position you will be informed when we have either moved forward with your application or when a decision has been made concerning the recruitment in question.
