Honing of Cylinder Liners

Wärtsilä in Germany has recently installed a new honing machine, which enables honing from 320 to 980 mm. It is a custom made machine for Wärtsilä from the German based company Gehring GmbH & Co. KG and it is the first honing machine with these dimensions.

At the moment the honing machine is still in a testing phase. As soon as this phase is completed we will provide you with more detailed information.
