Wärtsilä Australia Pty Ltd is the Australian Subsidiary of Wärtsilä Corporation, the leading global ship power supplier and a major provider of solutions for decentralised power generation and supporting services.

We have offices at Sydney, Perth and Port Moresby in PNG. We do not have a physical presence in New Zealand and all business transactions with NZ customers are done via our Sydney office.

Across Australia and the Pacific, Wärtsilä has set up about 1,4GW combined Energy and Marine installations. In addition, we have recently secured a 260MW/260MWH Battery Storage project. Wärtsilä is now a major player in the Battery Storage market in Australia. We provide solutions, life cycle support and have service agreements to some key Energy and Marine customers. In addition, we also provide field service and workshop services to the overseas cruise operators and passing vessels.

We are a diverse team with a total FTE of 176, with the Agreement Management and Field Service being two of our biggest. Our experienced and professional Field Service Engineers are available 24/7. Our workshop in Sydney is fully equipped and can handle major engine component servicing as well as being a certified turbocharger facility.
