Community support

At the national level, Wärtsilä provides financial support for a number of national, cultural and social activities. The Board of Directors has supported activities focused on children and young people, national defence, disabled war veterans, and medical and technical research. Wärtsilä’s Board of Directors contributed altogether EUR 70,000 to these activities in 2007.
