The Maneguide line of seals meets the performance requirements of rudderstock sealing applications. These seals are designed to withstand excessive deformations resulting from the high rudder thrust loads typical of current international shipbuilding design trends.
The Maneguide seals are used extensively in both commercial and military applications, meeting the relevant shock qualification standards.
Mounted in a tough flexible bellows, these radial face seals are unaffected by normal bearing wear. They require no maintenance and are easy to install, particularly in their fully split form.
